Behind the Numbers
The Conseil des Etudiant-e-s de la Haute Ecole Bruxelles-Brabant offers its students both services and representation. While its advocacy work is a major strength, representing students in negotiations with the institution and on a wider scale in Wallonia, CEHE2B also offers several services that help students to be part of the community on campus.
The union offers advice, organizes regular events and actively maintains its Facebook page. Food assistance was also offered during one academic year, but it is not clear if this is a permanent service.
The Conseil des Etudiant-e-s de la Haute Ecole Bruxelles-Brabant is a member of the Fédération des Étudiant-e-s francophones (FEF). The union defends students’ interests within the school’s decision-making structures and has recently won victories that have reversed certain university rules. The union also participates in advocacy campaigns organized by the FEF.
The Tweaks
A “shared grocery store” was a brilliant idea and should be continued if possible.
